This website gives a voice to disabled Ghanaians by providing stories, research, and resources related to the history and experience of disability in Ghana.  Led by Magnus Mfoafo-M’Carthy and Jeff Grischow, the materials have been gathered as part of two research projects funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC).

The first project, Trudging Through the Contours of Life, examines contemporary perceptions and experiences of disability.

The second project, A History of Disability Rights in Ghana, explores the historical context and development of disability rights from the 1950s to the present.
